Jan. 10        Arizona Trail Maintenance Day (Passage 18A) @ 9:30am

                     Location:  Picket Post.  Meet at 9:30 AM at the parking area just off of US 60, mile marker

                    222, where Happy Camp Road starts.  (See Trail Ride News for more information.)

Jan. 13        Planning and Zoning Working Session @ 7:00pm regarding Horse Boarding Facilities

                     Location:  Apache Junction City Council Chambers

                     NW corner of Superstition Blvd. and Highway 88

 

Jan. 17        Trail Ride:  Lost Goldmine Trail from Cloudview Trailhead

                    Directions:  Highway 60 to Kings Ranch Road (at Gold Canyon).  Follow it around to the

                    cattle guard at Baseline and turn right.  At the next stop sign turn left onto Mohican, then left

                    onto Valley View at the stop.  Finally, turn right at the stop sign at Cloudview and follow it to the

                    end.  Sounds complicated, but just follow the trailhead signs and avoid the dead end signs.

Mar. 7           2^nd Annual Competitive Fun Ride at Apache Junction Rodeo Grounds

                      Registration is now open!!

                      Click here for the registration form and here for the release form.  Both forms are required.

                      Mail completed forms to SHA Trail Ride, C/O Diane Blanding, 1865 E. Canyon,  Apache

                      Junction, AZ  85219.  Deadline is Feb. 28th.  A late fee of $5.00 will be charged for entries

                      received after Feb. 25th.
